Bungaree was a small vehicular ferry that operated between Dawes Point and Milsons Point. Built by Rock Davis for the Milsons Point Ferry Company, she was an exact copy of the earlier Transit.

In 1879 the North Shore Steam Ferry Company (forerunner of Sydney Ferries Limited) purchased all vessels and wharves belonging to the earlier company including the Bungaree.

She was converted into a pontoon in 1900.
