Narrabeen at SFC base on 6th November.

Reckon she could benefit from a nice coat of white paint on the bows!

She appears to have a new brand logo on her funnel. Can anyone clarify what it is?

Yuk. It's the NSW Government logo (stylised waratah). Now appears on several department's stationery too.

Its not just Transport, its all state government departments. It is the logo for the NSW Government. They started adopting it about a year ago.

Side by side - you can see that the new boats are seriously fat compared to the old ones.

When Freshwater was delivered she did not have the welded band around each bow. When in service it was quiclky evident that when operating in the smallest swell conditions water and spray constantly came over the bows causing considerable discomfort. The band was retrofitted in an attempt to reduce this problem. I have the video of the Collaroy launching and will check if the band was fitted to her from new.
