great photos, goola looked great at that time. wish I was born 20 years earlier so I could have had the experience of a trip on her. =)

I remember going to Manly on the Baragoola and coming back on the North Head in August 1979. The poor old Baragoola was vibrating badly and I remember the windows rattling hard on the trip. In contrast on a trip on the South Steyne the steam engine developed a gentle thump making the trip much smoother.
