Kanimbla was a sister to Kosciusko.
On the

Circular Quay, she tore a hole in the Kanimbla's port bow. Balgowlah
had minor damage, Kanimbla nearly sank. Four people on Kanimbla
were injured during the incident.
In March of 1937 the Royal Australian navy launched a new vessel and
wanted to name her Kanimbla. As a result the ferry was renamed to Kurra
Ba.
