Kedumba was a near sister to the Killara II.
After the opening of the Sydney harbour Bridge in 1932 she was sold to
Victoria to operate on the Stony Point to Cowes route. Unfortunately
whilst being towed by tug to her new home, she sank. The sinking was
blamed partly on bad weather and partly on the tug operating at too
fast a speed.
Ultimately her sister was placed into the service intended for the
Kedumba.
Kedumba sank off Narooma on the New South Wales south coast in January
of 1933.
