The arrival in 1902 of the Koree on to the harbour saw a new innovation for travellers to the North Shore - the first Sydney ferry with a fully enclosed promenade deck offering full protection from the weather.

In 1934 Koree was withdrawn from service, made redundant by the new Sydney Harbour Bridge. She was broken up in the following year.
