Very little is known about this vessel. Even her name tends to vary
amongst record keepers. She is named variously as Nola Creiner, Norah
Creiner or Nora Creiner .
Nola Creiner was an iron sea-going paddlewheel steamer that was
operating
excursions on Sydney Harbour as early as December 1854. These trips
included Manly. It is generally acknowledged that she was the first
vessel to run excursions in Sydney.
There is some indication she was owned by Eyde Manning's
Shoalhaven Steam navigation Company in 1857. Possibly sold to China in
1865.
