Parramatta was originally owned by the Jeanneret family which indicates
she operated in the Balmain and Annandale areas. She passed to Phillip
Walker when he bought out the ferries and routes belonging to the
former company.
Later she was sold to Sydney Ferries Limited and she was in use as a
cargo vessel between 1905 and 1912 for that company.
She was laid up from 1912 until 1916 when she was broken up.
