Planet is perhaps the most obscure of the early Manly ferries. Beyond the fact that she was working the Sydney-Manly route in 1855 for W Marshall, little else is known about her.

She was sold to New Zealand (H Houghton of Dunedin) in Fenruary 1858and was wrecked on the Taieri River on the 22nd of March, 1863.
