Wallaroo (as built) was a sister ship to Carabella. She was originally
operated by the North Shore Steam Ferry Company prior to that company
reforming as Sydney Ferries Limited.
In 1914 she was substantially rebuilt. The changes were significant
enough that she was virtually a new ferry. At that time she was renamed
to Kiamala.
She was sold to the Royal Australian Navy in 1943 but does not appear
to have been used in active service.
Her final fate is unknown.
